September 2019, What's Happening, Willow Park even reported on the WPB highway sign. “The Willow Park Baptist Church trusts in the Lord -- but still knows how to plan ahead. They purchased a small lot on the corner of I20 service road and Mary Lou Drive (was Crown Drive), for the “soul” purpose of displaying their big, WPBC bill board. They planned for Mary Lou Drive to be the main thoroughfare to their new church.”

Informational. Mayor Moss reported partnering with Willow Park Baptist Church as a place of shelter in the event of another winter storm. Local pastors have also agreed to help supply the shelters.
