“I am very pleased to have Deana joining the city hall staff,” said Mayor Doyle Moss. “We have a lot going on in the city right now and her experience will be such an asset for us.”

Deana brings 37 years of municipal experience to Willow Park City Hall. She started her career with the City of Sansom Park, holding every position there from utility billing all the way to City Administrator. She has also served in the cities of Crowley, White Settlement, and Everman.

Most recently, Deana served at the City of Aledo from 2011 to when she retired last year in 2024.

"We are thrilled to have someone with this wealth of experience joining City Hall,” said City Manager Bryan Grimes. “We think she is going to be a great fit for our team and we look forward to working with her.”

Deana has her original certification as a Texas Registered Municipal Clerk – and an impressive five re-certifications. At the time of her fifth recertification, she was the only City Secretary in Texas to have achieved that honor. Others have since followed in her footsteps.

Her hiring in Willow Park is effective immediately and we welcomed her into her new office at City Hall on February 12.
