New rule: no vote, no complaining. And admit it, you gotta' complain about property taxes, right? So vote!
Tuesday, 01 March 2022 is the Texas Primary Party Election. That means there are TWO ballots, one for registered Democrats and one for registered Republicans.
These are primary elections for Governor all the way to PC Commissioner 4 (Willow Park’s District).
HOWEVER, while there are contestants for both parties at the state level, there are no Democrats running for most of our LOCAL elected positions; whoever wins the Republican Primary, runs our county government.
And this is a GAME CHANGING vote at the state level, too. Both parties have strong candidates against the incumbents for ALL the top state elected offices.
All polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
We have one polling place in Willow Park
First Baptist Willow Park, 601 Ranch House Rd., Willow Park, TX 76087, down the street from the Willow Park City Hall.
Not to be confused with Willow Park Baptist Church. (Yea, we did that two years ago.)
And there are several more nearby.
Hudson Oaks City Hall 210 Hudson Oaks Dr Hudson Oaks, Texas 76087 Council Chambers
Aledo ISD Admin Building 1008 Bailey Ranch Rd Aledo, Texas 76008 Louden Room
Main Voting Site: Parker County Courthouse Annex 1112 Santa Fe Dr Weatherford, Texas 76086 Annex Kitchen

Research Resources
The Community News has done a thorough job of presenting the local candidates via articles and audio interviews.
Time's Up! Your Vote is Your Voice, 25 February 2022 article in .pdf
Here is our WPC list of the sample ballots (both) with links to candidate webpages, videos of candidates forums, a link to county campaign finances, and more.
Parker County Conservatives have produced another excellent source of “Do-Your-Own-Research,” of course, from a conservative point of view. "We have provided a 'Do-Your-Own-Research' resource on our website where you can find information on all the candidates (including their websites), scorecards, pledges, recommendations and endorsements from various conservative organizations, sample ballots, voting times and locations etc. Print a sample ballot and fill in your candidate choices or print our vetting committees’ voting guide."
