Country Hollow, new builder and new start for Willow Park housing development.
Update: During the 12 September 2023 City Council Meeting, agenda items 2 and 3, Historymaker Homes gave an updated presentation on its plans for the new Country Hollows development, south of I20. (The first Historymaker Homes presentation was made to the 15 August 2023 P&Z Commission Meeting.)
The updated project highlights were included in a Presentation by the new builder Historymaker in .pdf / meeting video 9:50.
• Close on sale of property in November; 99% engineered; will start construction in December 2023; will be quick build.
• New entry designs.
• 100% masonry, except smaller facades sides and back of house, ie. chimney and gables.
• Builder will pay the City a fee instead of providing the required dedicated park space.
• Area around retention ponds will be landscaped, and the large trees along Hunters Glen shared property line will be saved.

Historymaker Homes, who purchased the Country Hollow property from Red River Development, made a presentation [in .pdf] of its new plans, during the 15 August 2023 P&Z Commission Meeting (Agenda Items 2 and 3 / 4:10 in the Willow Park civics audio file/ [in .pdf]).
Historymaker Homes, with TMP Engineering, is planning to break ground early 2024, with twelve (12) months of development, and then sixteen (16) to eighteen (18) months of building, with an estimated completion date of mid 2026.
Historymaker, the only builder in Country Hollows, is the oldest, privately-owned, family-operated homebuilding company in Texas. Historymaker has twenty five (25) communities in the DFW area with the closest below -- in case you'd like to take a look at an example of the new houses in Willow Park.
