Summer water advice from the Texas Water Development Board


With summer in full heat, the Texas Water Development Board -- a Texas government organization supported by your taxes -- is sharing information on how the state is managing water and offering advise on how to conserve water. Check out recent posts from irrigation conservation to new water laws from the 88th Texas Legislature.


The TWDB has two periodic reports, and they have the Texas Water Newsroom. Bookmark and check often.


Texas Water Conditions Report, The Texas Water Development Board monitors water conditions throughout the state. Reports are created monthly for selected reservoirs, streamflow sites, and ground-water wells. Current and past reports [are available].





TWDB's Water Weekly, The Texas Water Development Board’s weekly, one-page report on drought conditions and water-related issues across the state.
