(That sound you hear in the distance is the giant sigh of relief at City Hall.)
We deeply appreciate the patience of our community while we've worked for the last year and a half to improve our roads throughout the city. We know it's been a headache, but we think the end result was well worth the inconvenience.
DISCLAIMER: PLEASE OBSERVE POSTED SPEED LIMITS AND USE GOOD MANNERS ON THE NEW ROADS. We know it's tempting to go fast on a nice smooth surface, but these are roads, not racetracks. Your neighbors and the Willow Park Police Department thank you.

• Crown Road, Ranch House Road, King’s Gate Road, Trinity Drive, Trinity Court, Sam Bass Court, Crested Butte Court, Ridge Haven Court, Pleasant Court, and Old Ford Road
• Final walk-thru inspections were performed for each of the streets. Punch lists were created and formally given to the contractor.

• The reconstruction of Sam Bass Road from Ranch House Road to Squaw Creek Road is substantially complete. The 2-barrel, 4' x 8' box culvert has been installed. Driveways have been removed and replaced. Roadside ditches have been graded and all disturbed areas hydromulched.

2022 Street Improvement Project "Sam Bass Road Phase 2" SAM BASS ROAD UPDATE: The section of Sam Bass Road between Sam Bass Court and Dubin Drive is now open! We will now complete the section from Dubin Court to Squaw Creek Road. Please use caution at the intersection of Sam Bass/Dubin as only one side of the intersection is open and workers will still be active in the area.

Tomorrow - Wednesday, Jan. 3 - we will be closing down Phase 2 of Sam Bass Road for reconstruction. The road will be closed from the intersection of Sam Bass Road/Sam Bass Court, down the hill to the east side of the Dubin Dr/Sam Bass Road intersection. The section of Sam Bass Road from Ranch House to Sam Bass Court will be reopened tomorrow.
Please do not travel this section of Sam Bass Road and use the appropriate detours. You can still access the back side of Meadow Place through Dubin Drive via Sam Bass, but only the west end of Sam Bass Road will be open. Plan your travel around the city accordingly!
This road is the LAST of the 2022 Street Improvement Project and we are just as excited as you are about the final phases. Thank you for your patience while we work to make Willow Park better for you!

Sam Bass Road between Ranch House Road and Sam Bass Court will have a traffic switch TOMORROW, Dec. 5. The eastbound lane will be open and the westbound lane will be closed.
We ask that ALL THRU TRAFFIC please continue to use the detour on Trinity Drive while this section of the road is under construction. Thank you for your patience while we work to make Willow Park better for you!

Kings Gate Road is now open to two-way traffic.
The completion of Kings Gate brings us to the final stage of the 2022 Street Improvement Project: Sam Bass Road. Sam Bass will be reconstructed in concrete but we will have to completely close down portions of the road during the work.
If you live on Sam Bass, you will still be allowed to travel in and out of your homes. But if you're using Sam Bass as a way to travel through town, you're going to need an alternate route. We recommend Ranch House Road > Trinity Drive > Sam Bass Ct as the detour during Phase 1.
Weather permitting, work should begin Monday, Oct. 30. Once Phase 1 is complete, we will begin Phase 2 (more information on Phase 2 to come later).
This is the LAST road we are doing as part of this project. We appreciate the patience of our residents, businesses, and visitors as we work to make Willow Park better for you.
