• Crown Road, Ranch House Road, King’s Gate Road, Trinity Drive, Trinity Court, Sam Bass Court, Crested Butte Court, Ridge Haven Court, Pleasant Court, and Old Ford Road
• Final walk-thru inspections were performed for each of the streets. Punch lists were created and formally given to the contractor.
• Sam Bass Road
• The reconstruction of Sam Bass Road from Ranch House Road to Squaw Creek Road is substantially complete. The 2-barrel, 4' x 8' box culvert has been installed. Driveways have been removed and replaced. Roadside ditches have been graded and all disturbed areas hydromulched.

Kings Gate Road is now open to two-way traffic.
• Road Project Update October 2023 Newsletter, Willow Park City Website, 09 October 2023. Kings Gate Road and will soon begin work on the intersection of Kings Gate and Meadow Place. This could cause some traffic changes for people traveling both Meadow Place AND Kings Gate, so watch for workers and obey any posted signs.
• 21 July 2023, "King’s Gate Road - The contractor will complete the concrete road work at the intersection of King’s Gate Road and Meadow Place Drive in the coming weeks. Project has been delayed due to survey work in the area to verify construction lines and grades. Once construction of the southbound lane is complete, the contractor will switch traffic to start construction on the northbound lane. King’s Gate is approximately 45% complete." Crews will begin work today on the intersection of Meadow Place and Kingsgate Road as part of the 2022 Street Improvement Project. If you are a pedestrian crossing Kingsgate to reach the park or some other nearby area, please do not cross through the work zone. We expect the intersection work to last around two weeks and then you should be able to cross at the intersection again. We appreciate your patience during this project!

With Crown Road behind schedule and Kings Gate Road started 06 March 2023, construction began this week on two (2) more Willow Park roads, on the eastbound side of Ranch House Road between Vista Dr/East Lake Dr and Crown Road and on Trinity Court. • King’s Gate Road, Phase 1 (Southbound Lane), 24 April 2023 Council Meeting Agenda Item 9 in .pdf; City Engineer Report 29.10 on Facebook video.
- The existing asphalt has been removed and hauled off to meet final pavement grade. The crew continues to work on the subgrade preparation.
- The contractor has completed the installation of the 24” storm sewer pipe on the west side of King’s Gate Road north of the Clear Fork Trinity River and will begin working on the 2-20’ curb inlets.
- The contractor started setting up the concrete paving forms.
- Poured cement starting Tuesday and working north.
• 10 April 2023, Capital Improvement Project update, Street construction and drainage work continue Willow Park city website. The project consists of removing and replacing approximately 36,500 square yards of existing asphalt pavement with concrete paving and replacing approximately 18,600 square yards of asphalt pavement with 2” HMAC. List of Streets:Crown Road, King’s Gate Road, Ranch House Road, Sam Bass Road, Sam Bass Court, Trinity Drive, Trinity Court, Old Ford Road, Crested Butte Court, Ridge Haven Court, Pleasant Court
• 23 March 2023, Traffic reminder: construction on Crown Road and Kingsgate Road, Willow Park city website, Just as a reminder to our residents and businesses: Construction continues on both Crown Road and Kingsgate Road as part of the 2022 Street Improvement Project. During this work, traffic patterns on both roads will be adjusted. Traffic on Kingsgate Road continues to be NORTHBOUND only.
• Kingsgate Road construction begins March 6, Willow Park Website, 03 March 2023, Construction will begin on the southbound lane of Kingsgate Road between Castlemount and the Kingsgate Road bridge on Monday, March 6. Traffic during phase one of this project, which is estimated to take several months, will be NORTHBOUND only for the duration of phase one. • November 2022 Newsletter, City of Willow Park, Road projects set to begin early 2023 The City of Willow Park is expecting to begin a major road improvement project in early 2023. The first roads included in the project will be reconstructed with cement and include the following areas: Crown Road (from Ranch House Road south to the city limits); Sam Bass Road; Ranch House Road (from Crown Road to Vista); Kingsgate Road (from north of the bridge to the top of the hill) After the cement projects are completed, the following roads will be reconstructed in asphalt: Old Ford Road and adjoining cul de sacs; Sam Bass Ct; Trinity Trinity Ct.

Ranch House Road from Crown to Vista. Sam Bass Road from Squaw Creek to Ranch House Road. Kingsgate Road from IH 20 Bridge to Castlemount. Old Ford Road and adjacent cul de sacs, Sam Bass Court, Trinity Court and Trinity Drive. After we complete this project we will be looking at other streets in our city to do.
