Parker County Day at the Capitol

Tuesday, 28 March 2023 and Wednesday 29 March 2023

"Willow Park officials will be participating in the East Parker County Day at the Capitol, as we have for the previous sessions dating back to 2019. Our participation consists mostly of attending meetings with various legislators and their staff and discussing a wide range of issues important to not only the City but the Chamber as well. In the past Mayor Moss and various Councilmembers have attended, as well as staff. This year, Mayor Moss, Mayor Pro Tem Lea Young, Councilmember Chawn Gilliland, and myself will be attending. The issue we will be focusing our efforts on this session will be funding to re-construct the Bankhead Bridge. Rep. Rogers has a rider in the Appropriations Bill that would provide the funding to re-construct the bridge. We plan on visiting with members of the Transportation Sub Committee." City Administrator Bryan Grimes, 20 March 2023
