New Church and School at old Ranch House Road Willow Park Baptist Church
From their new campus on Crown Pointe Blvd., the Willow Park Baptist Church [1] is leasing their old Ranch House Road sanctuary and campus to The Journey Church (Christian) [2], who is in turn leasing the campus to The Premier Academy of Fine Arts of North Texas. (Private, Christian). [3]
The Church will have Sunday Morning Worship Services at 11 AM, Wednesday Services For All Ages at 6:30 PM, and additional ministries and Disciple Groups.
The High School is Auditioning now...
... and is expecting "about 100 students with approximately 20 members of faculty/staff, the typical number of people on campus each weekday. Operating days are Monday through Friday, with most weeks being Tuesday through Friday, from 8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., beginning September 9, 2024 through May 15, 2025." [4]
During the 16 April 2024 P&Z Meeting [4] and the 23 April 2024 Council Meeting, the City will consider a Zoning Change from “Class II: Residential ‘R-1’ Single-Family District” to “Class II – ‘C’ Commercial District.”
