Here's a list of candidates for state office who’ve secured election without November opponents.
The Texas Secretary of State released its list of candidates for office certified without opponents for the November general election. These candidates, some incumbent and some not, are now “declared elected” by the secretary of state.
Those candidates guaranteed a spot in the state legislature are listed below.
