• Two Notes on Willow Park Ballot

• On the 08 November 2022 general ballot, Willow Park has ten (10) candidates who ran unopposed. These candidates are "declared elected" and are not listed on the voting part of the ballot; however they are listed in a shaded box on page two of the ballot. For the city of Willow Park the candidates are as follows:

  • Texas State Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals Place 2, Mary Lou Keel

  • State Senator District 30, Drew Springer

  • State Representative, District 60, Glenn Rogers

  • Parker County

    • County Judge, Pat Dean

    • Judge, County Court-at-law No 1, Kirk D. Martin

    • District Clerk, Sharena Gilliland

    • County Clerk, Lila Deakle

    • County Treasurer, Rebecca McCullough

    • Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4, Tim Mendolia

    • County Commissioner Precinct 4, Mike Hale

• There are two propositions on the Willow Park and Willow Park Extra Jurisdictional Territory (EJT) ballot placed by Parker County Emergency Services District 1 (ESD1).

• PROPOSITION A: "Adding a tract of land located in the City of Willow Park, Texas, and adjacent territory, to Parker County Emergency Services District No. 1.

• Editorial Notes:

- A vote FOR Proposition A means the voter SUPPORTS selling the Willow Park Fire and Recue Department to ESD1. [Yea, doesn't sound like that, but that's what it means.]

- If you do NOT want to sell the Willow Park Fire and Rescue Department, vote AGAINST this proposition.

- As documented in the 11 October 2022 Willow Park City Council Meeting the MAIN PURPOSE of selling the Willow Park Fire and Rescue Department is to the acquire the funds to build a new Willow Park City Hall.
