  • Budget Breakdown = Fiscal Year 2022-23, posted 19 September 2022. The Willow Park City Council approved the budget and tax rate for Fiscal Year 2022-23 at the Sept 13 City Council meeting.     • Agenda Items 3 and 4 Public Hearing / Discussion/Action: To consider and act on adopting an ordinance providing for the adoption of the City of Willow Park Municipal budget for Fiscal Year 2022 - 2023.  

    • Agenda Items 5 and 6. Public Hearing / Discussion/Action: to consider and act on adopting an ordinance adopting an Ad Valorem Tax Rate and levy on assessed property not to exceed $0.538450 per $100 valuation for tax year 2022 for the City of Willow Park, Texas including a Levy for Debt obligations ($0.254509) and a levy for Maintenance and Operations ($0.283941) consistent with the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Municipal Budget.

    • Public hearing set for budget/tax rate. The council set a date of Sept. 13 for a public hearing concerning the proposed 2022-23 Fiscal Year budget and the newly proposed property tax rate.

    • At a budget workshop in June, Grimes revealed the preliminary projected revenue from property taxes to be $1.9 million with the projected sales tax revenue being $1.7 million. Those numbers are up slightly from the projected $1.849 million in property tax revenue and $1.4 million in the 2021-22 budget....

    • Grimes also recently presented the council with his recommendation for a lower property tax rate for citizens of 54 cents per $100. That’s a decrease of three cents from the current rate of 57 cents per $100.
